Advances in Mind-Body Medicine to Resume Publication in June

InnoVision Health Media will resume publication of Advances in Mind-Body Medicine.

Advances, first published in 1985, serves medical practitioners and researchers, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, RNs and other healthcare providers with the latest in peer-reviewed research, perspectives, news, abstracts, interviews and resources.

As part of the resumption of publishing the journal, all Advances paid subscribers will have access to an online, searchable library of past articles in a database available at advancesjournal.com. In addition, the Advances website has undergone an update that has resulted in new features and improved functionality.

Frank Lampe, InnoVision's VP of Content Development, announced that former Editor Sheldon Lewis has agreed to lead the editorial team producing Advances, which will benefit from the added input of Suzanne Snyder and Lisa Anne Marshall, managing editors of InnoVision's two other medical journals, Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine and Integrative Medicine: A Clinician's Journal, respectively.

"We're thrilled that Advances will resume publication in June and continue a 22-year tradition of groundbreaking research and information about mind-body medicine," says Lampe. "Additionally, we're honored that Sheldon Lewis has agreed to once again oversee content for the journal. Under his direction, we're confident that Advances will ably serve this very important community."

The Advances staff is currently seeking appropriate submissions for publication in future journals. For editorial queries and information on submissions, please see "Info for Authors" in the menu on the Advances website or contact Sheldon Lewis, Editor-in-Chief, at 303 565 2014, sheldon@innerdoorway.com.

Also, for the first time, Advances will be accepting advertising. Interested parties can contact Scott Blackburn, Ad Director, 303 565 2034, scott@alternativemedicine.com.
