Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology Creates nergy Psychology Certification Program

The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology announced a pilot program for energy psychology certification.

ACEP (the The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology) gives the following reasons to become certified in energy psychology:

"1. Competence: Develop or upgrade your EP skills so you can enjoy the self-confidence of knowing that you have truly comprehensive state-of-the-art EP expertise.

"2. Credibility: Gain an edge in the marketplace through becoming able to market your EP skills to the public and colleagues in the most prestigious way possible -- from the world's most professionally credible EP certifying organization.

"3. Contribution: Play a vital role in helping establish an impeccable EP standard of care that will pave the way for EP becoming more widely accepted, and for possible insurance reimbursement in the future."

ACEP currently offers two certification tracks:

* Comprehensive Energy Psychology Diplomate (CEP.D) for licensed mental health professionals.

* Certified Energy Health Practitioner (EHP-C) for other health practitioners, including non-psychiatrist physicians and nurses, dentists, chiropractors, coaches, clergy, and those with academic degrees in mental health but not licensed.

The program includes components such as:

"...Home-study of 11 modules of information available on-line, provided through and using portions of Energy Psychology Interactive along with newly developed modules addressing Establishing Treatment Readiness, Identifying and Treating Psychoenergetic Blocks to CEP treatments, Basics of Meridian, Chakra and Biofield Treatments, Ethics in CEP Treatment and Therapist Intention and Self-

Energy psychology is "a family of mind/body techniques that are clinically observed to consistently help with a wide range of psychological conditions. These interventions address the human vibrational matrix, which consists of three major interacting systems:

* Energy pathways (meridians and related acupoints)
* Energy centers (chakras)
* Human biofield (systems of energy that envelop the body)."
